The Z Street Speakeasy Band has been a Gatsby Band, a Prohibition Band and a Speakeasy Band all across Florida this month. From Orlando to St. Petersburg and beyond, this has been the busiest April on record. Here are some pictures from just a few of April 2016 events.
The Z Street Speakeasy Band performed at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club last night for an incredible evening of music, dance and awards. The band performed in front of a jaw dropping backdrop, and vintage theme decor. The Z Street Speakeasy Band performed Roaring twenties music, swing, and as the night progressed, launched into music from the 80's, 90's and 2000's, packing the dance floor to the very end.
The Z Street Speakeasy Band played an Gatsby Gala Fundraiser in Tampa on March 27, 2015. The venue was an old warehouse turned Speakeasy with Gaming Tables, vintage seating, antique cars and more. Thanks to the popularity of Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby and HBO's smash hit Boardwalk Empire, The Z Street Speakeasy Band has been keeping busy performing for conventions, theme parties and vintage wedding receptions. The Z Street Speakeasy Band performs music true to the Roaring Twenties era and slowly transitions into contemporary music as the night goes on. The Z Street Speakeasy Band performed for a corporate event for FSMTA on Sat. June 28, 2014 at Renaissance Hotel at Seaworld. With a Circa 1939 theme, the guests danced the night away to the sounds of The Z Street Speakeasy Band. The bands goal is to pack the dance floor by reading the crowd.
The Z Street Speakeasy Band performed on Miami Beach on May 22nd, at the jaw dropping Eden Roc Hotel. The Orlando swing band added to the Art Deco theme of the evening for State Farm Insurance. The Sophisticated and swinging event made for a memorable event. The crowd danced until the very end, and everyone had a great time.

From The Orlando Museum of Arts "Festival of Trees" Gala, to The "Celery Ball", bandleader and trumpet player Mark Zauss and his bands have been packing Central Florida's dance floors for years.
